What is TallowPal?
TallowPal is a no-minimum private label tallow skincare service in the US, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Brands choose tallow products, add their own label and connect their store. We make the products in small batches, then label, pack and ship each order under the brand's name. TallowPal is made by the team behind Wholesale Tallow Soap USA, which has sold tallow soap and body care with no minimums since 2022.
Where are products made?
Handcrafted in the USA by our own production team in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in small batches, and shipped from there. Nothing is bought in from another maker and relabeled.
Is the tallow third-party tested?
Yes. Our tallow is third-party tested, and we share the test documents with brands for their own records and for marketplace approvals such as TikTok Shop.
Is TallowPal a print-on-demand or dropshipping service?
Both terms fit. There is no minimum order: we make products in small batches, print and apply your label when an order comes in, and ship it to your customer under your brand. Some call that print-on-demand; others call it private label dropshipping.
Do you work with tallow, and what tallow is it?
Yes, tallow is all we do. Every tallow product is made with pasture-raised, grass-fed, grass-finished beef suet tallow from small family farms, dry-rendered, food-grade, never bleached or deodorized, with no additives. These claims describe the tallow, not the finished products. Every product is palm-free.
What is the minimum order?
There is none. You can sell one unit at a time, and samples are available before you launch.
How fast do orders ship?
Within 2 business days of the order reaching us, or the next business day on the Pro plan, by USPS Ground Advantage, USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground with tracking. We ship to all 50 US states plus APO, FPO and DPO addresses.
Do you print and apply my label?
Yes. We print your label on demand on matte, oil- and water-resistant label stock and apply it to each unit. The label price is included in the unit price.
Will my customers see your name?
No. Orders ship in a plain box with a packing slip carrying your logo and no prices. Nothing in the box names TallowPal or Wholesale Tallow Soap USA.
Which products and formulas can I sell?
8 tallow products in 55 formulas, scents and flavors: whipped tallow and honey balm, tallow balm, coffee and tallow eye balm, tallow soap bars, tallow lotion, tallow deodorant, tallow lip balm and tallow liquid soap.
Can I use my own formula?
TallowPal sells our ready formulas, and the formulas stay ours while your brand, label and artwork stay yours. For a formula of your own, Wholesale Tallow Soap USA develops custom formulas from a $250 pilot and a first order of 200 units.
Which stores can I connect?
Shopify and WooCommerce connect directly: orders reach us automatically and tracking goes back to your store. Etsy and TikTok Shop orders come in by order import. Any other store can send orders by upload.
How much does it cost?
Plans are Studio (free, for designing and samples), Brand ($39 a month) and Pro ($49 a month), with 2 months free when you pay yearly. There is no free trial: Studio is free, so you can design and order samples before you pay for a plan. Unit prices include your label, from $3.75 for a lip balm to $16.75 for a 16 oz lotion. Shipping is billed at the actual label cost.
What do your labels include for US cosmetic rules?
Every label template holds the lines US cosmetic labels need: product name, net weight, the ingredient list, your "Distributed by" name and address, and a lot code. Every design gets a claims check before it prints, so drug claims such as treating eczema stay off your label.
Who is responsible for the product under MoCRA?
The company whose name is on the label is the responsible person under the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act. On TallowPal that is your brand. We give you full ingredient lists and batch records, and explain what the role involves.
What quality controls do you have?
Our tallow is third-party tested, and every batch is made to a written formula and recorded with a lot number, so each unit traces back to its batch. We carry product liability insurance. We do not hold GMP or ISO 22716 certification.
What if a package arrives damaged?
Report it within 7 days with a photo and we replace or credit the affected items. Customer questions go to you as the brand, and we help with anything about the product.
Can I move to bulk later?
Yes. When you outgrow one-at-a-time orders, Wholesale Tallow Soap USA sells the same products in volume tiers with no minimums, and develops custom formulas from 200 units. Same kitchen, same formulas.
